Syed Faseeh Uddin
Senior Engineering Manager at Opsera, building the platform for AI-driven DevOps.
About Me
Full-stack engineer with nearly a decade of experience shipping production software across the entire stack.
Currently at Opsera as an Engineering Manager, staying hands-on with the code while helping the team move fast and build well.
I do my best work on greenfield product systems and on untangling legacy code that’s outgrown its original shape.
Looking for senior EM or staff+ IC work at companies building AI tooling, DevOps platforms, or something with real infrastructure depth. I’ve spent years working at that layer and want to keep going deeper. The job I want is the one where you still need someone to hold the whole system in their head and care enough to actually ship it.
Projects
20 games. No engine. Just React, Canvas, and raw JavaScript.
Structured retrieval over a corpus of judgments — not a chatbot, a casebase.
Score an OpenAPI spec against the patterns LLM agents actually need.
A 3D globe that rotates to your city and tells you the weather.
Search my writing by meaning — the language model runs in your tab.
A 3D planet, GSAP scroll choreography, and Lenis smooth scroll
Kanban that stays out of your way

Experience
- Senior Engineering ManagerJan 2026 – PresentCurrentLead the platform engineering team and own architecture across Opsera's DevOps surface, from the platform APIs that AI agents call to the user-facing experience those APIs power. Led platform-wide UX overhauls alongside the engineering work. Still hands-on in the code.
- Lead EngineerFeb 2025 – Jan 2026Drove architecture across multiple squads; led Salesforce integrations including SFDX pipeline execution, metadata deployments, and PMD-based code quality scanning, while shipping AI-assisted orchestration features that scaled the platform from early-stage to production-ready.
- Senior Software Development EngineerMar 2021 – Feb 2025One of the founding engineers who built the pipeline and orchestration core from the ground up; became the go-to engineer for platform problems across the product.
Senior Software Developer
Owned the full end-to-end kiosk app and web interface for a B2C application serving the Japanese market.
Platform Engineer
Built an LMS from the ground up, getting hands-on with the latest technologies across the stack. Involved in all architectural discussions and stakeholder meetings, contributing to product direction from early on.
Platform Engineer
Worked across multiple POC projects spanning IoT applications, Warehouse Management, and Inventory Management portals, getting hands-on across the full breadth of the product portfolio.
Writing
Your backend was designed for a human clicking buttons in a React app. In 2026, a meaningful slice of your traffic is LLMs calling your endpoints — and they don't read docs, don't skim, and retry until they succeed. The architecture has to catch up.
157,000 tech layoffs in 2025. Salesforce froze engineering hires. Claude Code in 69% of enterprise teams. I went through the actual research so you don't have to panic-read headlines.
In late 2022, GPT-4 couldn't reliably solve competition math problems. By 2025, reasoning models are outscoring domain-expert PhDs on their own subject matter. I tried to put the full arc into one place.
